Not exactly. Most seem to disagree with my assessment of the current situation, but Nagito is the only one who is directly antagonistic towards me at pretty much every given moment.

I'm assuming it's more a clash of philosophy or personality, then?

A bit of both, I suppose. He doesn't think I'm fit to be a doctor, he's implied that I lack qualifications, which is untrue.

Yikes. And I imagine he's expressed that with his unique viewpoints.

Indeed. Something about talent and hope. Words he seems to be obsessed with for some reason or another.

Not to tell his business, but it's less him than it is the world he comes from. Beyond that is his story to tell.

Is it the same as Makoto's? The two seem close.

[ Fixated is a very polite word for it. Obsessive would be the word Dankovsky would have chosen. ]

He's very blatant about it. I think it's probably the only sincere feeling he has that isn't dampened by his self-loathing.

I almost feel bad for him.

Something must have happened to warp his psychology so deeply, though it's none of my business.
